Height settings are adjusted and set using a tightening knob and are further reinforced with a locking pin to ensure safe, secure, reliable speaker support. Wide 17.5 inch triangular bases provide a sturdy foundation to ensure stability and balanced weight distribution for powered or unpowered speakers. Padding on the platforms decreases vibration to preserve sound quality, protects the speaker cabinets from scratches, and increases grip to keep the speaker safely in place. Nonslip rubber feet on the bases reduce vibrations and prevent sliding to keep speakers safely in place on hard floors. Optional base spikes are included to ensure the stands stay firmly in place on rugs and carpets. Assembly will be required upon receipt.
